>> No.14943311

The average person never recoups their investment on geothermal.
It's prohibitively expensive to install and potential upkeep keeps it at a net loss.
It does work well but a heat pump or mini split system is far more cost effective in the long run.
Heat pumps less so than mini splits, but still...

Thanks for the good topic OP

Actually an excellent growth opportunity in places like India where there are 2 billion slowly entering the middle class. Since it’s hot as hell in India one of the first things panjeets are going to want to do is buy air conditioning.
> one thing you can do is long copper most air conditioners are built with copper
> long natural gas companiesin the locations where air conditioning activity is going to grow. Air conditioners are usually powered with natural gas.

Good topic OP

Long copper is probably a good idea, longing LNG may not be a good idea as long as we are fracking, there is a fuck ton of it, but what the fuck do I know.

>> No.14944298

>>14944198
Ya definitely agree anon LNG will be much riskier than copper. It all depends on the demand.
The supply like you said is going to grew exponentially with fracking and gas reserves all over the globe.
However the demand is also going to grow huge!
Europe is nothing compared to the 6 BILLION people in India and China that are starting to move off coal power and into natural gas.
>also could see a possible opec like natural gas cartel being created going into the future that continuously drives the price up.

But ya both avenues are good anon

Coils have been aluminum for literal decades, all coils with the exception of an extremely few systems are aluminum.
All linesets are coppers, and every system outside of just forced air uses copper linesets.
