Hello frens. Can you guys give me feedback on this tool I created, IndImm, that allows you to upload any file, of any size, to the ripple blockchain. It is thus permenant and can't be changed (Indestructible and Immutable = IndImm). You have to use ripple payment transactions and the cost works out to roughly 3.6 Megs per XRP or with today's exchange rate, 11 megs per 1 USD.
I've been browsing biz a while where I was introduced to crypto and have been working on this for a couple months. I'm looking for any and all feedback, ESPECIALLY on the section of the site on how to use this tool to upload files anonymously and securely with a VPN+Tor and anonymized ripple.
The code is completely open source and runs locally only using angular, no server side code. You talk directly to the blockchain from your device.
More details on how it works are on the How IndImm Works section of the site. I'll be including more detailed/tech focused information soon.

This is a work in progress and I'm thinking about adding features such as being able to add comments using ripple or possibly a port of the application to a chan clone.

Source code is here: https://github.com/ndm-inf/ndm
Links to site: http://www.IndImm.link
The above redirects to: https://ndm-inf.github.io/ndm

Example of a file uploaded with IndImm:

What do you guys think?

How long do you expect until someone uploads "FUCK NIGGERS"?

Not long honestly

What does this mean? You can download movies from Ripple?

>> No.14928381

From what I gather, XRP is not particularly suited for uploading files as they have to be broken down.

However, the fact that it runs locally is pretty cool.

I have the transactions chained in such a way that the theoretical size limit is infinite

Yeah, you can upload any file of any size. I have created a Indimm Messaging Protocol that runs on top of the ripple block chainthat allows chaining of transactions/messages so that there is no size limit.

Probably you should think about implementing some kind of search, like search for files that are already stored...

Your competitor is basically BSV at this point.. Another altcoin that boasts about its ability to store files

>> No.14928540

However, it relies on centralized services/websites for payment, uploading and browsing. Your XRP solution is better in that respect

>> No.14928569

Yeah, I looked at BSV and finally settled on XRP because of the ability to be decentralized and anonymous.

I don't have any Ripple, but I think the initiative you took is very cool. Making use of a block chain beyond trading helps drive adoption.

Thanks fren. I went from being someone who didn't believe in crypto at all 2 years ago to now being a hardcore advocate and developer for crypto.

If this takes off, I will be adding functionality to this that incorporates LINK. Ultimately, this will use XRP, Monero, and LINK/ETH

Welcome, fren! That's awesome you were able to act on your belief in crypto. People like you will help yourself and others make it. Been busy programming outside of crypto for a school (Java as of late). Been thinking of learning solidity for smart contract programming on Ethereum.

How many hours did you put into this project thus far?

That's quite the range of crypto to incorporate.

Yeah, I'm just now starting with solidity, not hard but different.

Probably about 120 hours of real work.

I think XRP is gay

But it seems a useful project. Good job then.... Are you buulish on link?

I honestly did until I found it useful for my project

I am extremely bullish on link

Interesting idea. Finally something worth reading on /biz/

Ok, nice. Glad to hear it's more different than hard. It'dll be neat to see how smart contracts and block chain in general can change the world.

120 hours is still a good amount of time to put into a project on your own accord. Most people have a problem with managing a self-created task for more than a couple of hours, so good on the time management for following through for many hours in multiple days.

You could find probably some block chain related jobs if you have an interest. Could always have a "premium upload" feature or ad free site. Charge per use?

At the least, a good portfolio project and a good personal project to be proud of.
