Nobody here account for fiat in their folios.
Once I decide I want to use an amount of fiat for crypto I add the fiat to the folio. Then I rebalance to 2/3 crypto, 1/3 fiat. This way I always have lots of fiat to buy the dips.

Don't mind being spread on other coins since they follow BTC but if I catch a sudden pump I can skim gains off the top and rebuy lower and distribute in other areas of my portfolio. I'm kinda starting from the ground up since I lost so much in margin trading, so my new strat is to try and smooth out market noise by just DCAing instead of trying to time the market. Looking to decrease my position in LINK and up my position in BTC and LTC, then add a few other shitcoins that seem like a pretty good long hold. Just bought it so I don't have any amazing experience, but looking at the charts, it's pretty discounted from where it was a year ago. Seems like it's been trying to get back up there. I think it's worth a hold. It still has active development too, so I think it's worth holding a bit. I wouldn't make it some large portion of your portfolio, but I could see this trickling up in Satoshi value
