You cannot sell gold for 1425.
I tried to sell my gold and I was offered 1375, no retail buyers BE AWARE.

>> No.14842869

That’s why you sell when the price of gold is more than $1425.

>> No.14842877

>>14842809
Why would you sell gold before the party starts? The Fed is just starting to ease. Central Banks are begging for inflation to pick up (even though Core CPI is over 2% year over year already) knowing if things get out of hand they can't raise interest rates. US budget deficit at record levels and rising, foreigners dumping US T Bills. Recession incoming. Do you even know what is going on around you?

Is it generic gold bullion, or is eagles, maples, or some other sovereign coin? Also did you attempt to sell it at a dealer?

>Not if the Fed lowers interest rates, brainlet.

We're at 2.5% already, 15 years ago that would have been considered stimulus. Cutting rates to 0% isn't gonna do shit unless they start printing. They're gonna have to print multitudes more fiat than they did in the past since the value of $1 of stimulus has dropped so much. The Fed is in a trap.

Guns. Guns are unironically one of the best solid asset investments.

>Obvious utility
>Hold value far better than things like cars, maintenance also way easier
>If SHTF and you have a gun but no gold while your neighbor has gold but no gun, that means you have a gun and gold
>Can be easily sold legally OTC or on black market
>Sad how you accidentally lost your gun on a boating trip

Guns are the true gold standard. We should use bullets as currency.

>Again, obvious utility. Even once shot a cartridge is made of easily recyclable metal.
>Can't be easily inflated, requires actual manufacturing and a demand for bullets.
>Higher calibers are higher notes. 0.50 cal is a $0.50, 10mm is a $0.10, etc.
>Automatically deflates as if the currency becomes worthless people just use it to hunt, shoot recreationally, or defend themselves.
>If your govt really has a problem with hyper inflation they just use all the bullets to go to war. It's probably what they were going to do anyways at least now they have a well supplied army.

Guns and bullets are true redpill. Fuck commies.

>> No.14843815

>>14843755
On the bullets as currency thing, ammo factories could become the new banks. If carrying a bunch of bullets everywhere gets to be a pain, factories just issue a slip that equals up to a certain time and date when they will run the assembly line to create bullets, and that note can be traded in for a given amount of bullets on that day. Boom, paper money basically just order slips for bullets.

>> No.14843885

>>14843750
You can call JM Bullion to see. They're currently quoting $1423.
If you send first class USPS (assuming you're in the US) it's $4. Add signature confirmation for $3.
If you insure it that's like $20 but I don't bother insuring packages anymore, I just do signature confirmation. Over 1000 packages sent and 0 lost.
Your best bet is to call them.
