I know cardano is supposed to be advanced blockchain, but what exactly is it good at? High tps? speed? smart contracts? Probably better keeping it in fantom.

It was supposed to be generalized (multi engine), functional (muh formal verification) and "clean, done right" (separated into layers), and have sharding.

Layers were abandoned, so generalized gone. Rust codebase will likely be the main one used, so functional partly gone. "Clean" and "done right" was again about the layers, functional programming and formal verification so not much left.

Contracts are still functional fwiw. Fae is a low-key interesting alternative that might outcompete ETH and ADA by piggybacking, using ETH only for data layer. Fae has no native token.

Atleast Cardano is able to get contracted by governments and businesses to be their solution. Ethereum doesn't make that effort and anyone wanting to use Ethereum or interested in it has to plunge into it themselves and rely on third parties to advice them.

A big part of adoption is not just building some code its also onboarding and guiding your clients. And if their tech is a little inferior or basically on-par with other standards in the industry that won't matter very much. As most entities need to be onboarded, they need to get sold on it.

I'm not even invested in this. But I respect Cardano a lot more than that shitcoin Ethereum which doesn't respect anyone and only cares about their communistic ideologies and making everyone conform to their bullshit.
