From what i read, you can own lp shares and dont need to stack your links there to receive passive income.

Is that right? Thinking of buying a fraction now that eth diped

>> No.14802618

>>14802567
that is correct. lp charges a 25% fee for their steaking services. 25% of that 25% was sold during their crowdsale. so if you simply hold LP you receive passive payouts proportional to the amount of "equity" that you own in LP.

I'm going to copy-paste a post I saw the other day.

Now, let's try to figure out how a $50 LINK scenario with network usage and LinkPool actually becoming an essential part of the ecosystem (they are aiming towards it) would look like.

Let's assume that the heartbeat remains the same
>Heartbeat 8.76 LINK per LP yearly

For NaaS let's assume that it'll have 1,000 users during the first year at $5 monthly payment. That's $5,000 monthly * 12 months = $60,000 yearly. In a $50 LINK price scenario, that's 1,200 LINK yearly

>NaaS 0.3 LINK per LP yearly

Marketplace. Assuming a similar price to NaaS $5 (?). If we assume it'll have 1,000 users, that's $5,000 yearly. At $50 LINK price that's 100 LINK (remember that Jonny said something like one-time payment, so this time we don't multiply * 12)

>Marketplace 0.025 LINK per LP yearly

Staking dApp. They said that eventually, every LP will be able to stake +10,000 LINK. Let's assume a total of 12 million LINK is staked in Linkpool nodes. If we assume a 5% ROI with 1 LP share and a maximum 12,000,000 LINK staking stack, you'll be able to stake 12,000 LINK. With a 5% roi that's 120 LINK (yearly? monthly? I don't know). They get 25% as a fee, so you get 450 LINK. If we assume that profit happens in a monthly basis 450 LINK * 12 months = 5,400 LINK yearly

>Staking dApp. Taking into account above calculations that's 5400 LINK a year thanks to your staking stack of 12k LINK and 450 LINK from the staking fees as LP holder.

So to sum up
>Heartbeat 8.76 LINK per LP yearly
>NaaS 0.3 LINK per LP yearly
>MarketPlace 0.025 LINK per LP yearly
>Staking dApp 5,400 LINK + 450 LINK per LP yearly

>TOTAL 5,860 LINK per LP yearly. At $50 LINK price that's $293,000 a year...

when staking in a node your rewards are proportional to the amount of LINKs you stake in relation to total LINK staked within the node

Your rewards will always be proportional to your stack size. On the other hand LP shares gives you ownership of linkpool NODES and your reward SCALES independently of the amount of link you hold.

Think about it this way. Let's just say LP has 10% of the total Chainlink volume (which is an upper estimate), and let's say that they're putting through so much fucking volume that every retard with 1LP is ACTUALLY making $100k a year.
THINK HOW MUCH A CHAINLINK TOKEN WILL BE WORTH AT THAT POINT. You are talking about a network doing billions and billions in revenue. By the time LP neets are making $100k p/a, anyone with 5k LINK will have made it over and over and over. And at that point there will be a whole ecosystem of staking services where you can choose one that doesn't require the ultrascam LP token buy in.

Your LP shares are earning you passive income already, even though the Chainlink is still in its infancy state with just a couple of centralized nodes payed by Sergey himself.
Imagine the returns when we have thousands of nodes providing data to tens of thousands of smart contracts
and Linkpool will account for a huge amount of those data requests.

The same is true for Chainlink. It went10x in 2019 so it is not possible to buy anymore.
Just like Bitcoin or ETH can't be bought anymore, so lets just get a nice big bag of Dogecoin.
Ok, seriously though, the ratio of Link to LP share has always been in the range of 3000-5000 Link and the current price is still in this range.

for example:

Sound can be encoded as geometries and symbols as illustrated in the video below:
https://youtu.be/wvJAgrUBF4w
As shown in the video, symbols can be used to represent sounds and sounds can be used to represent symbols (geometries)

In much the same way light waves create the geometry of time through which we perceive motion as shown in the tesseract scene of interstellar
https://youtu.be/TMxJnoPOFkg
You can (visualize) what it would (look) like if you could move through time as if it were another temporal dimension

It would be a kaleidoscope of fractals with you in the center and your whole field of view would be filled with slices of space in distinct times that you could move through similar to this picture

notice that the separate slices of time in that scene of the tessereact in interstellar are bound by light beams
light bounds time, in an analogous manner to the sound waves on the drum bounding the geometrical patterns we see

"Here I am still like the rooster in a foreign barnyard, who is snapped at even by the hens; and yet I am not unkind to these hens on that account.

I am polite to them, as toward every small irritation; to be prickly toward what is small strikes me as wisdom for hedgehogs."

"They all talk about me when they sit around the fire in the evening–they talk about me, but no one thinks–of me! This is the new stillness I have learned: their noise about me spreads a cloak over my thoughts.

They noise among themselves: ‘What does this gloomy cloud want with us? Let us make sure it does not bring a plague upon us!’ And recently a woman pulled back her child when it wanted to come to me: ‘Take the children away!’* she cried. ‘Such eyes scorch children’s souls.’

They cough when I speak: they believe that coughing is an objection to strong winds–they guess nothing of the roaring of my happiness!"

Alcohol is a drug.
As for how it affects the mind, it is best understood as a drug that reduces a person's ability to think rationally and distorts his or her judgment. Although classified as a depressant, the amount of alcohol consumed determines the type of effect.

12 Millions LINK staked * assume like that post 5% (annual, monthly?) * 25% LP cut * LINK price.
Owning 1 LP, 5% annual, 1k$ LINK is 12000000*0.05*0.25/4000*1000=37500 $/year per LP. Not taking into account personal staking from a 12k LINK staked. Add this and we have 12000*0.05*0.75*1000=450000$. So yea. Dope. Far from that moment imo tho. And 5% annual imo is so low, i bet we would have around 30%-50% staking rewards/year.

We could also take another perspective, let us assume that LP revenue a year from staking is 1billion$ (is it low? is it too high?, leave marketdapp n shit away now), 1/4000 of 25% of that billion goes to whoever owns that LP. That s 62.5k$/year just for owning that share.
