What I found helps happiness is the sense of progession. Which is hard to find when you're born with everything you'd ever want. But my friend's and I were not born in such circumstances, and I'm learning that we've all had major improvements in our mental health by moving up the financial ladder. Although you don't have to take my advice, because I know little of the world, I think you need to find a project you can put time into and it'll progress.
