back in 2010 or so on the SA forums we used to buy each other custom avatars, upgrades to forum accounts, etc., using meme numbers of bitcoin like 69 or 420 bitcoin depending on the purchase. in summer 2017 when the mega bullrush happened i drove 18 hours to my parents' house to dig my old laptop out of storage where i knew i had my private key stored in plain text, and i had a wallet with about 130 BTC stored on it. i still have them--well i did some shitcoin trading and made some bad trades but i basically broke even. it's still hard to believe, sometimes.
