Do you pay rent, a mortgage or anything else of the sort as opposed to just renting places, paying rent for a month before stopping, then delaying the eviction using legal means for six months?

If so, why so?

Doesnt this destroy your credit score making it impossible to rent the next place if not ill start doing that

Literally just refuse to pay or leave. Look up the laws on removing tenants in your area first though. Some states it can take a year but I don't doubt some places it's pretty fast

Not in California, because in California eviction cases are sealed unless the landlord wins (they always settle because legal fees are 10k or more for a fully contested eviction)

>>14702198
In California, avoid service for as long as you can, file a motion to quash, file a petition for a writ of mandate if denied, file a demurrer, file an answer with as many affirmative defenses as possible, then try to squeeze as many continuances out as possible in between doing discovery. Negotiate a leave and waive provision in your settlement agreement when you go to the mandatory settlement conference.

I have legal insurance from my employer, the State of California ($10 a month) which pays for a lawyer to do this for me. But you can do it on your own as well.

this is the type of based and redpilled regulatory arbitrage california deserves to bear for its pants on head retarded housing laws. you're a pioneer. you should make a youtube channel about this.

ty ty. I work for a regulatory agency which stops landlords from developing their properties without getting proper permits in certain areas and fines them thousands of dollars a day for not doing so, so I'm not sure it would reflect well on the neutrality of my agency if I were to publicly make a YouTube channel about this.
