One of BTC's biggest problems for years has been a lack of good mediums and exchanges. A lot of what makes BTC good and hard to trace got thrown out as an option when major fiat on-ramps got involved. Though it's not as if they could have helped it, multinational legal pressures followed along. At the same time, their services require their customers to give up custody of their keys. type in dumprivkey <address> x6jk

(x6jk is just my example you need to type in the one the console gives you) then it will dump a long random string of numbers and letters, that string is your private key.

USDT doesn't need to be Lightning enabled, devs have already said they are integrating the entirety of Ethereum and EOS networks so that includes ERC20 tokens which USDT has, as well as many others like USDC.
