How do I profit off of its imminent demise?

I buy from here even though amazon is fast and cheap in comparison because and this should matter to you to: its presence in your community is of utmost importance. It's a grand symbol of the importance of literary and they even have a decent cafe and comfy reading area. You pay to keep this around not to blindly pay more than when online shopping. my two cents

tldr: this thing disappears and crime goes up in your community possibly.

Man, I hope this thing sticks around.

nope, them's libraries you're thinking of. B&N is a bookstore, at least for the next month or so

Except it's not because they only sell funko pop onions figures and beetus coffee, and the only people who regularly shop there are literal autists who read manga, comic books and Warhammer books and millennial girls who still read YA and Rupee Kapur.

good riddance. fine with just amazon and indie stores. indies stores fill the bookstore void just fine. BN has crappy selection in most stores anyway. In the burbs its self help, christian books, and comics, with tables of toys.

>> No.14690593

Just a question, are you basing this prediction on their stock's massive price dip or on the hedge fund that took them over?

Can confirm the only time I went to B&N for the past 5 years was to buy some mango

Yeah I buy from B&N instead of Amazon as well. Probably one of the ONLY places I prefer over Amazon

going to miss these brick and mortar bookstores. Not necessarily Barnes & Noble, but it's nice to be able to go to a bookstore and sit around, pick up random books, see what you like, drink a coffee, etc.

amazon and google are a fucking cancer

I also buy from b+n instead of amazon unless its a specific book. I just prefer browsing in person
