Does anyone know what they’re saving for? I made 70k in crypto and now put it all into index funds. But even with a positive 10 year market outlook and adding onto my index I won’t have a million dollars. I don’t like “saving for retirement”. When I’m old I can live frugal. I feel like there’s no point in having more money than necessary, but less than millions. What are you even gonna do with it?

Nothing, once your financially literate enough you realise the only things you should spend money on is good food, a nice house that you own outright, travel, freedom from wage slavery, a reliable car, nice clothes and further investments.

Of course being able to sustain your lifestyle means that investments and real estate comes before other things

It literally doesn't matter when you buy Index funds as long as you buy constantly.

Consistently. Fucking auto correct.

That is false. Plenty of spots last 10 years where buying index funds would not guve you any gains

In 2007-09 index funds lost 50% of their value. You're telling me losing 50% is not significant? We're due a recession and it's going to shit on index funds, now is the worst time to move your funds there.

In what part of the world is this possible? Every country I'm aware of you can only rent real estate.

Synthesizers and nice audio equipment for myself. Eventually a theater with millions invested into speakers, Atmos, acoustics, Dante, the fuckin works. I want to privately own my own Eccles theater, for the lack of a better comparison, and get super high quality recordings off of symphonies, bands, etc.

I want to let audio nerds take tours and fuck around with stuff because that's how my greatest professors and teachers let me do it and had me find my love for audio.

I'm gonna be smart with my crypto and supplementary salary from work to get here. If I go deaf before then and ear surgery isn't an option, I'm blowing my brains out only after donating all my money away to music and audio engineering students.

Nice clothes are overpriced and pointless. Buy a few plain shirts and be modest.
