Link seems to have the first solution to the oracle problem regarding smart contracts in blockchains. If the use of this technology expands to some major businesses/industry which it very well could with a little more technological improvement chainlink could potentially provide the very crux of support keeping the system going. If things go according to their roadmap they’ll be able to develop a network of 99.99% truthful information being fed into the blockchain which is invaluable
