If u get one of those tael rfid protected wallets make sure they aren’t open

how'd you get hacked? You know Ledger can take your crypto whenever they want right?

>> No.14584018

I like the nano. Had the S and just bought the X. I keep the S in a safe and the backup key on an encrypted drive that's offline. Paper and pen is nice but make sure you've got multiple copies in case of fire/damage

>> No.14584024

Is that the good old Techrock/WABI seal I'm seeing there. Ledger Nano FTW though

The safest place to keep your money is on an exchange.

>> No.14584080

>>14583979
That's not true. The keys are kept on the Ledger. The company does not own/store them in any way.

>> No.14584121

>>14584018
and what's the better one X or S?

>> No.14584209

>>14584121
The X simply because it can hold more apps on it. If you want to store more than 4-5 different coins on the S then you have to swap apps which can be annoying.

But if you don't ever plan on owning more that a few coins then the S is perfectly fine.

Yes. But don't use the 'Ledger Live' program to interact with your BTC wallet. Use a BTC wallet that supports the ledger nano.

ledger live is pretty fucking shitty, but I use it. I have to enable the "experimental USB" option in settings to get my nano x to work properly

omegalol, crypto is great because it's open source, why go back 10 steps when it comes to key generation and transaction signing? Are all ledger fags really this retarded?
