I have a backup plan so this is not screwing up my future. The way I look at it, I've put like a year and a half of my savings into link instead of stocks. Delaying my boomer tier stocks/bonds/real estate retirement to 11-12yrs instead of 10yrs from now is worth it to me for a chance at making money from link, but I have never risked my rent payment or anything critical on it.

EVERYTHING extra, I have put into this shitcoin. But ONLY extra.

I would feel bad telling you to buy if you're going to go all in with your rent check, or your retirement savings, when for you that might mean delaying retirement by an extra ten years . I don't know your situation, but if I had to delay my retirement by ten years for link, I would probably have bought less.

And 1% bsv because I see bsv as a black swan- almost guaranteed to fail but I think it might eventually doom link and every other coin if it succeeds.

My thinking is either blockchain is the future like everything thinks it is and chainlink is the best piece of that future, or blockchain is the future but big block proof of work is the way forward, with us not needing anything but big block Bitcoin (bsv). It's essentially chainlink vs Bitcoin (in vizarro world future where people are right about bsv being Bitcoin*) maximalism for me.

*- Bitcoin white paper says Bitcoin is cash. I happen to think that only big block Bitcoin is able to be cash. Big miners subject to government control don't bother me because if I'm starting a business, "evade the government" is not on my list of priorities, so it wouldn't hurt me if mining is a little more centralized by several big.mining centers rather than slow but allowing neckbeards to feel good about thinking they're contributing with their raspberry pis.
