Chainlink is a couple of centralized nodes querying themself for the price of ETH. It costs a couple bucks to get that info into your smart contract, which makes it unusuable for all except the very high value contracts - which simply don't exist yet.
Also the supply is very centralized still with Sergey sitting on 65% of it, which are literally $2 billion in the hands of one man.

I think Link will be great in the long run, but the current valuation is not deserved and entirely based on hype.
