I cannot believe where we are.

I have been making and updating this chart since March 2018. Everyone would always sperg out about 'that's not how mcap works!', but anons would keep reposting it to guide discussion about what link could do in the future. >>/biz/image/BctFAz9IxI5nfw3ZOxeo0A

Look at this chart, I've always thought; rank is what matters. The crypto market *will* grow, the technology is just too important for some use cases. The questions is just, where would link be when the next bull came.

I cannot fucking believe where we are. Cannot believe it. We just passed fucking NEO. We are murdering projects left and right as we climb towards the top. IF THE TOTAL CRYPTO MARKET JUST MATCHES THE LAST PEAK, WE ARE ALREADY AT >10$ LINK. Let that sink it. 25$ is in play. 60$ is in play. 100$ eoy is unlikely but, not impossible.

It's been an honor being part of this journey with you. I hope my charts have helped some anons, and feel like I did my part, however small, for our long years in the wilderness.

Yeah I thought of that, but it wouldn't make sense - I would always list the "current" link price as lower than it actually is, and it would look retarded.

It's also not as simple as it seems though. Yeah, I could adjust the price assuming 1B is on the market. But, by then staking will probably be a thing. So will the total supply be higher or lower? In the end, not worth correcting for - what matters is the current price on the open market, so I just list that.

No, the core assumption is that mcap/rank proportions stay the same. This is obviously wrong, but it's expedient because otherwise you have to decide how to redistribute the rest of the mcap away from BTC, and that's another decision tree. When BTC goes to 40%, my chart will reflect that. Until then, we're projecting from current proportions.
