honestly at this point do we all still trust facebook/twitter/watsapp/skype/discord/watever to look after our interests and data? china, the nsa, everyone seemingly is just passing our private conversations amongst themselves whenever they feel like it

It makes me super nervous that these big corporations have that much control. It's the reason I loved crypto and the principles/ideas

Telegram is amazing and everyone uses it but I want to know about every privacy or at least decentralised communications app with some size/scale

Blockmesh is one someone put me onto recently that uses mesh technology to share communications without a central node
