Any anons experience problems associating with low IQ plebs? They can't handle anything that is too complex. How can we wipe out the low IQ population?

154 here.
Basically you acquire the skill to determine someone's actual intelligence and their perceived intelligence, then compensate on the fly for the disparity between them. So if someone's (for the sake of an example) floating around 120IQ but they think they're smarter than me, I'll generally humour them and couch anything I say in a "don't you think this is so" sort of frame, and try not to get bogged down in explanations that make them feel inferior.
If someone is genuinely as intelligent as me and they have no particular ego about it, there's no need to pander, they never break a sweat keeping up and don't feel the need to one-up my statements. But that's a very rare thing. Most of the time I'm moderating everything I say for a 100IQ audience and basically pretending to be average, talking about memes and staying clear of hard science or certain metaphysical topics. Because it's easier.

enjoying most people is nice and attainable as you say, but it doesn't solve the actual problem of not having anyone to genuinely connect with. I am extremely social and friendly and enjoy the people I'm around, but when I find someone within one SD I get tremendously excited and am reminded of just how starved I am for the ability to converse at my own level in a relaxed way.

I don't know my IQ, tested as a teenager it was in meme range. What you say is basically true for me too, although I find that as long as you don't come off as a prick there are plenty of mid-high intelligence people who appreciate the detailed explanations too.

dumb people actually appreciate the genuinely High iq. They see someone really capable and want to be around them and enjoy that this really smart person likes them, too. Hollywood started focusing on international audience about 15 years ago. As most of them have poor English language skills and/or are stupid, they just dumbed it down to their level. The dialogue, plots, etc are unbelievably thin, even compared to movies from 20 years ago. The fact that the idiotic dialogue and plots are about faggy shit makes it even worse.

If you can sit through a major hollywood movie without watching it to take notes for the coming final solution, you are probably brain-damaged. Literally staring at the wall and thinking to myself is 100% more interesting.

My pet theory regards our modern civilization being a product of harsh English criminal law starting in the 16th century. Thieves were severely pushed, far worse than now. The net effect was removing all of the worst people from the gene pool. Within a few generations, England soared into the industrial revolution. This was a simple result of culling the worst parts of society - they hold us back that much.

So, extremely harsh criminal penalties for sociopathic and violent behaviours. Get rid of their kids, too.

>don't come off as a prick
This is true, but it's so much more fun to be a prick to overconfident midwits. You can't do that to normals or dumb people without feeling like you're beating up a retard, but your average 115 iq type? Unload.

>> No.14438334

>>14437988
It's almost less about intelligence than it is about ego. People tie their knowledge to their self-perception and thus can't abide being taught something, because that (in their minds) makes them inferior. So they just kind of pretend to know shit even as it's being explained to them and nod as if they aren't totally lost and I can see that they're desperate to then teach me something I didn't know to even the score and make me run to catch up with them, to prove they're smarter than me, and I want to hurl them into a dumpster so they'll learn some humility. I say this out of kindness. People need to accept that they don't know everything, regardless of their IQ.

>> No.14438488

>>14438334
My view is that the above-average but not exceptional iq types are really invested and prideful of their intellectual capacity. They have been "the smart one" in their town/family/whatever and based their identity and self-value around it. They see it as an enormous badge of honor - it protects them from the humiliation they feel for being shitty at everything else they admire. At least they're smarter, they think to themselves.

Meanwhile I appreciate my very high iq but see it as a condition to be managed more than some sort of ego accomplishment. Yes it makes life easier and is a huge advantage - no question, and I enjoy that. But it's also something that leads to a lot of disconnect from people and rejection. It's like walking around with a laser weapon and having to make sure you don't accidentally blast your friends with it, because you'll hurt them and they won't be your friends any longer.

Imagine you know a really ,really rich person. Someone who can jet set around the world, buy houses and ferraris, all of that. After spending a lot of time with them you're going to feel like a poor fucking loser. It's not their fault and it's not your fault. It's just that they are way outside the mean and it distorts perception. Having a really high iq friend can also be like that and there are many good people who will keep a distance. I don't blame them, but it still hurts.

When that is your experience, you don't see it as a superior, ego-boosting amazing thing.

IQ is usually divided into verbal and mathematical. The key is to have a high verbal IQ. This is literally all that matters if you want to make it. If you you have a high math IQ but a low verbal IQ you'll make more than average, but unless you're a genius you're doomed to be exploited for the rest of your life by people who "get it" and can manipulate social reality for their desired outcomes.

i think this probably goes for 2/3 SD above norm, so 130-160 types. wherever the line is where the number of people who can communicate effectively with you at your own normal, comfortable level, is reduced to a very small percentage of those whom you are interacting with.

>> No.14438947

>>14438518
Disagree bigtime. Math IQ is not about doing calculus, it's about understanding patterns and structures. This is enormously useful for analysis. Verbal IQ is useful but without a strong Math IQ to match you can't do nearly as much with it and it's not helpful at all in figuring out the world around you. Similarly, high Math but low Verbal would make it possible to understand the systems that exist but you'd struggle to express that, an equally poor result as the other way around.

Nice 8s man. I totally get where you're coming from. I wish my friends didn't feel like that. I wish it wasn't so easy to humiliate them, usually by accident, by seeing things that they can't or fixing things they couldn't solve. It is a double edged blade. But obviously it's better to have a sword than a pointed stick. You just have to wield it properly, or rather know when not to wield it. I've learned when to let people make their own mistakes.

Sure, and my experience is that I'm far more successful at this than most IQ people I've met (this presents an additional problem of the high IQ people resenting you for not only being super smart but also socially functional, or even thriving). Ultimately, it's just a bit of a lonely life. Manageable, but lonely. You end up really appreciating the people you do connect with. I'm in my 30's and am noticing how excited I get to find someone new who is genuinely smart out there in the world with whom I can establish a good rapport.

I'm about 135, and I've felt this way before. Speaking about something in-depth and just watching the other person just blink, blank.

I think what sucks the most is hearing someone say something very obviously false that they identify strongly with, setting it up where, if you're to challenge them, they're going to immediately be offended and either not want to talk about it, get really asshurt, or just throw up an impenetrable wall of other associated never-ending bits of bullshit to protect themselves. I suppose that's somewhat a temperamental issue as well, but still. People should be more open to being fundamentally wrong.
