tl;dr: Joe Rogan's tech guy says his rapper friend put music onto BSV blockchain, and Joe Rogan wants to find a way to put his podcasts on blockchain

Imagine the roman empire - under the economic tutelage of indian street shitters - formulated a currency system that used a significant portion of its gold and military might to enshrine the graffiti found among the various bath houses in rome.

Imagine that this new system completely intertwined this random graffiti and their currency in such a way that it was impossible to differentiate where one started and the other finished. Grocery list, IOU's, Weather data, song lyrics, all of it became the fundamental reserve of each and every roman coin.

Who would have the intelligence to speak against this?

As far as I know the only blockchain interaction is the purchasing with BSV, via Moneybutton. There are ways to put songs on the blockchain, heck Ryan X Charles put a shitload of photos on the blockchain already. But many consider it too expensive until BSV hits 2GB blocks.

Basically the producer that mentions bsv ultimately concedes he doesn't know how it works and it's too complicated. He says he'll let his friend that's into that bitcoin stuff be the guinea pig and figure it out for him. Not exactly a ringing endorsement. Unintentionally it's fud because it reinforces to normies it's some complicated blockchain shit that is difficult to use and even harder to understand how it works

storing files on a blockchain means it's there forever
but if your blockchain nodes are centralized, that's another conversation, you have to trust whoever operates the nodes won't change the protocol and blacklist access to your files

BSV is Bitcoin that scales. It has instant transactions (no waiting for confirmations), extremely low fees that won't actually go up as people use the network - it can handle 2000x the traffic that BTC can, and it allows for script to be built ON-CHAIN which basically alows anything a computer can do to be programmed on the network. Infinite possibilities.

It is the original Bitcoin protocol as it was intended by Satoshi in 2009.

The inefficiencies involved grow exponentially. A blockchain is better suited to store hashed references to data that's then separately served up by multiple data storage providers that get paid an appropriate market price for their service. Mixing the validation of your billion dollar financial transactions with validation of your shitty cover song recordings demonstrates a complete lack of experience with how anything tech related works in the real world.

Literally the opposite. The more BSV scales the cheaper it is to use the network. I'm sure this sounds crazy to someone with no knowledge outside of the shit network Core has created.

>> No.14414278

>>14414161
We already tried it many times over many years. It does not work at all and cheaper hardware does not mitigate the issues even slightly. There's nothing new about anything in BSV or the unwriter stuff.

Finally somebody with some common sense in this thread. If you store music and video and all kinds of useless bullshit on a blockchain it literally just converges to 1 maybe 2 nodes tops which is the exact same thing as YouTube or Spotify centralized servers. In that case what the fuck is the point of a blockchain in the first place?

yes just like any work of art, it's protected by copyright the moment is created
>the artist in turn receives all of the proceeds paid directly to you instead of a bunch of (((middlemen)))
yes, self publishing is a thing on the internet
