14404918 No.14404918 [Reply] [Original]

I'm currently a BSV holder, but I'd like to by more.

Anybody know the quickest way to buy BSV w/ USD as a American? Any help is appreciated.

Last time I loaded funds to coinbase. Bought BTC. Transfered BTC to some sketch exchange. Exchanged BTC shitcoin to BSV. Sent BSV to wallet. That all took like a fucking week, and I don't want to do that again.

Right, even with the "weather app data" there's more going on than just about any other coin. Also, the weather app actually provides utility to some people, where as shit like "crypto kitties" is just another ponzi scam. Laugh at true growth like a "weather app" if you want, but it actually adds value to the blockchain.

Just my thoughts anyways. Good luck, and have a nice day.

BSV split from BCH for basically the same reason. They don't have Segshit, but they're still altering transaction ordering, pre consensus, avalanche, etc.

It's amazing how fast something can get corrupted. That's why it is imperative that we make it to Feburary 2020 and lock this shit in stone for fucking ever.

No, those petty things are not the real reason why BSV split off. It split off because of Craig and Calvin's little affair. If anything, BSV itself is pretty detached from the original, old bitcoin protocol on a technical level. This whole thing is just attention whoring and drama.

That's exactly what I was talking about. These people are completely clueless as to what is happening with Bitcoin. It's entirely about creg. They've never read the whitepaper or considered the implications of changes and restrictions Blockstream pushed on BTC.

These talks are meaningless. You insist that other other coins introduced unnecessary technical gimmicks or refused to change variables, when they allegedly should not do so. But in the end, it's just capitalism and competition. There are many coins, competing projects and brands, many solving the scalability problem in different ways. You can't jump over your head just by claiming to be the "original brand" while having an absolutely cheap logo, a stupid name and shady, questionable creators. It won't pass. The deeper you drag yourself into the brand war, the more stupid you appear.

It sure is and BTC doesn't have its chops up to compete. Once that shitcoin is removed from its usurped throne we can actually begin to see real change in the way of sound money in this world.

Interesting. If the link network is up and established as expected in a couple of years, I don't see why companies would just choose to migrate to bsv all of a sudden. Doesn't make sense, especially if they're making money from it.

these things don't happen overnight. took 7 years for BTC to reach 1 MB. even if the rate doubles every year it will take a long time. and single parties putting a ton of data on chain every 10 min will get ridiculously expensive so that wont last for long.
