Yeah you calculate your gain each tax year. If you didn't go over the threshold that year your gains are exempt. Then at the start of the next tax year your opening balance is your new starting point for calculating gains m8

Also if your gains are exempt you don't have to report any CG on the SA return, just saying. Dont let HMRC know about your stack unless you have to
