I actually just switched up all my ETH to Nano :) time to ride the waves!

Really can't see how Nano hasn't kept up the pace with other ALTs, its the only crypto I ever actually demonstrate to my friends, the most active I see on Reddit in terms of cool techy demonstrations of its usefulness and overall the most likely crypto I would use to actually pay for something - either with friends or in a shop.

I just can't see Nano not making a major recovery as people calm down over the whole Binance US stuff.

Check out the appia presentation. This is an early leak, the big reveal will come in 2~ weeks time. This is unironically huge, and a lot bigger than just privacy, and even a lot bigger than Nano, as all cryptocurrency will benefit. Nano will obviously benefit the most in the long run however, as it is easily the preferred choice for merchants.

Come to think of it, the networks could benefit from each other a lot I think. I am going back to school so I can learn more about web and app dev, but ideally I want to combine the two with dAPPs and smart contracts, and of course utilizing Link to fetch information from outside the ETH network (such as decentralized confirmation of Nano transfers) and feed it back in.

I have this idea of a network that is hosted on ETH, utilizes Nano as a unit of currency, and incorporates Link for connecting the two networks together. This is the future I envision, and hell, if nobody else is going to do, I might as well. ETH is still in its infancy, so anyone getting in now in terms of development is going to be ahead of the rest of the pack. A system like this could not really exist without all three. Any sort of fee or centralization with the currency utilized would also restrict the potential of the network, so Libra, XRP, XLM, etc. wouldn't work either.

Another benefit, is that the Nano would be platform agnostic, meaning the currency will be used outside of my network as well, which will thus give my platform a real benefit outside of itself. STEEM suffers from such issues.
