Majors are more influenced by USD price than BTC. I just go by which chart looks to be more influential on the actual price, and how people talk about a coin.

Lowcaps are usually referred to as a price in sats. Almost nobody refers to Litecoin as 0.014 BTC, but many would say it's $134.
