It's depressing to read your discussion of what possessions you could potentially sell for more crypto in the hope that it moons but do you realise you could make more, quicker, and with less invested than the fucking bag holding you're engaging in? TA in its own is useless, you're right. However, when used in conjunction with risk management, that's when it becomes profitable. I can break even even if I'm wrong 3/4 times by having a risk:reward ratio of 1:3. The "3" that I make on my one correct trade balances out the three "1"s that I lost on my losing trades. That's the miracle of trading: you don't need to be right most of the time to be profitable.

Babypips.com have a solid free course on TA. Go through that and then hang out on TradingView.com to see veterans putting it into practice. Once you start getting the hang of TA, get yourself set up on an exchange that has futures contracts (I use OKex). Make very small trades while you're learning and be disciplined with your risk management. You need to take your emotions out of the equation; one trade isn't supposed to make you rich, it's supposed to be one of the many stepping stones on that path so don't get greedy.

Without risk management, you'd be about right. With risk management, it's legit and the leverage just works to scale up your net profits and reduce the amount of collateral you need.
