They are working on systems that work together. That function within cyberspace so efficiently that they risk losing control of it all together. Bitcoin, ethereum, chainlink, Libra.
What year did you realise that everybody you knew had a facebook account? How seamless was that transition from analog to digital communication?
Now they are developing an ecosystem that will integrate with legacy networks and once again no one will even notice the transition. All the sudden they will be consuming and operating on new platforms all made possible by the advancements made by the current block chain developers. PSD2 - banks want Api information from every other network that you exist on to have in depth analysis of your spending and lifestyle habits, not just the what and how much, but the why. Currencies like Libra will be treated and connected all the same as any other foreign currency. And what's going to be part of that infrastructure? What will seamlessly integrate and help establish the link between all these different networks. Maybe it will be a series of protocols working together.
But we won't even see it fucking coming.
