You aren't going to make it with less than 10k LINK. You just aren't. No exceptions. Stop asking. Stop making threads about it. Stop posting about it. No one cares if you are too poor to make an initial investment into something that is going to make you rich, and no one feels sorry for you.

Even 10k isn't enough unless BTC goes to $50k and brings the rest of the market with it

I’m usually on reddit but Is 57k enough? I barely feel like I’m going to make it. I had to sell some of my stack to pay bills at $2.11 but I’m not sure if it’s enough. I heard about link through Brittany Venti’s YouTube channel last year and I want to know if I have enough to make it.

I know this image has become a meme by this point but if link actually sees implementation and you're waiting to hold that long, it will just decouple from crypto entirely with banks+tech corps pumping our bags for us.

Add onto that that most of the current circulating supply will be locked up in nodes/staked and you'll see that 4 digits is not a meme long term. Now it's just a question of who wants to hodl that long. The math doesn't really lie, the derivatives industry alone is absolutely massive, and that's just the first major use case of link which is approaching quickly.

The "supply is too large" FUD only applies if you're going to sell within the next year or so, while the network is still in infancy. Never forget how long early btc adopters had to hodl in order to make it.

>the derivatives industry alone is absolutely massive
and to add on, chainlink doesn't even have to capture a majority of it, just 10% or so would send it to the moon. And banks will actually be willing because PSD2 is going to fuck them over but link (and smart contracts in general) is the way they'll be able to circumvent this and actually make money in the faces of Brussels' bureaucrats.

tldr hodl your link, staking gains is reason enough. who knows what the price of one token could be if we capture just part of the derivatives industry.

Nulinkers in general need to go back and read the archives, specifically early 2018 threads when the research started to get more serious. Most either have no clue of link's potential or they're pessimistic as fuck. You only have reason to be pessimistic if you think link won't succeed, but at that point, why are you holding link?
If link does succeed in its goal, it will transcend crypto. Or better said, it will be somewhere in the middle of crypto, tech, and finance. This is why price valuations for link based on btc bull runs or crypto mcaps are very stupid (for the long term).

This is about right. 10k will make it if Link is a top-ten coin, and BTC goes to about 50k. This would be about 2.5 times higher than the previous ATH peak for the crypto market as a whole.

I think this is possible. I'm a millionaire if link hits 50$, so all I need is BTC to rally to about 30k, as long as Link keeps climbing the ranks. My hope is that it gets to 5-10$ this year with more partnership announcements etc. Then we just have to pray for one last crypto bull to take us up. I'm hoping to sell in the 30-60$ range, keeping about 20-25% of my net worth in crypto for the long haul.

There's no doubt the ceiling on link is insane. But there's risks too.

Link could fail. It absolutely could. A better alternative could come along, or the tokenomics could end up not working. The coin could peak at 10$... 20$... 50$... and then collapse as something else takes over. There's no serious competitor in the space, so things look good, but don't delude yourself that link *will* succeed. It *might* - there's a big difference. Think of all the people who bagheld coins through the last bull and became suicidal watching it decay to nothing.

>> No.14230246

>>14230203
Yeah I definitely agree with you. If link pumps like crazy within the next year *purely* due to speculation it will crash hard, so I'm planning on swinging some of my stack if that occurs. Nothing wrong with selling earlier if you have a larger stack, but I would definitely hold some link long term.
Ultimately there are so many things about link that we know by now that differentiate it from any other previous scam, p&d etc. Call it hopium but I really believe hodling at least half of your link stack for a couple of years will pay MASSIVE dividends as opposed to selling at the peak of this coming bull run.

>> No.14230282

>>14227268
if link ends up being all that we think it will be 9k will HAVE to be a mammoth sized stack. If someone with 50k link makes it that means someone with 9k stack has to make it too.
