Realistically, what's to stop me from having my own version of pic related? If you don't know, here's what happened:

>"Husband" is a guy who brings over "wives" from Nepal
>The "wife" then works at a strip club and does porn
>He holds her immigration status over her head to make her keep doing it
>He lives off of her (legal) sex work because her income is their income

The only thing that court could even get him with was revenge porn, and that's mostly because he didn't present a legal defense in court because he didn't show up. He has done the same thing to numerous women for years.

Realistically, as long as you obey the law, nothing stops you. Logistically, as long as you can go to the third world you can find a girl who will do this. So I ask you, /biz/, does ethical consideration stop you?

It's fairly common in some places.

Marrying someone to get her a visa is a kind of fraud.

Not if you're fucking her. And whose wife doesn't work in this day and age?

the slave would probably not be able to do shit

If someone found out about it they could involve an investigator. Major cities have people that specialize in trafficking. Then they'd build a case and absolutely crucify everyone involved to set an example.

It would probably be best to recruit slaves from more obscure countries to keep the language barrier up, or have the slave send some $ home to their starving family or children or something to keep them from testifying against the owners

It can be, but that's not what this is.

Do you mean in terms of earning money or escaping?

They couldn't get the dude in this case.

Aside from the civil case, yes.

Very hard to proof the fraud if they are living with you, you have pics of them together and in general a "live together"
