BSV will be the first coin to introduce miner ID. The era of dishonest/illegal mining has come to an end.

kys, there is no such thing as “illegal math” and there is not even a way to stop it
are you scared of CP on the bsv blockchain? then you better remove any incentive to store immutable data for cheap

it means I trust you less which is why I require photo ID to accept your blocks (but they are large)

>This kills this thread;

Regarding the "blind trust", it seems that the coins that were mined are all in the same original addresses. Therefore since those coins have never moved, it means that the original keys to those addresses existed at creation.

Therefore, even if these keys were later split via Shamir SS, the fact remains that someone at sometime had the entire key....and presumably still does.

This is the correct thread.
BSV will be the true ethrum killer and also king of coinmarketcap 2019
Do you not think that the Craig Wright team has not been working hard? Guess what? It has.
And always remember, as Craig says:
Get in BSV
The real BTC!

At first when I heard this (last year) I also thought it was strange but once you realize that a miner ID doesn't really change anything it's a "meh".

Truth is mining cartels can be formed just as much with or without mining IDs today as well. Just like blacklists can be used just as much on any version on bitcoin.

The BSV miner IDs doesn't introduce anything malicious that can't already be on BTC today, remember that there aren't that many miners today (mining pools) and if these miners (mining pools) just agree to not accept blocks from any unrecognized miners they can.

Good luck mining outside a pool or starting your own pool if the other pools have formed a cartel and decides who gets in. Miner IDs changes nothing.
