You aren't a brainlet. It's just that the exchange has no sellers yet of LINK, the best option for you would be to buy LTC/ETH/BTC move it to another exchange and buy link there. Use CM to cash out with a different coin where there is high liquidity.

I use Binance. If you send via LTC it's pretty fast( it took half an hour for it to send). Until CM gets their volume in order keep your LINK on Binance but do check the news every once in a while for any govt. crackdowns on unregulate exchanges.
