I can't believe I got calls back from 5 of the 8 job offers I applied to.
What advice can you anons give me taking offers and interviews?

Demand a higher salary than what they want to start you at. They usually try to lowball you. Dont get greedy, just go up by about 1-2%.

If they discuss salary then highball a little and ask you how much you were looking for, start with something like "well from my research I understand the general salary for my position is [higher than what the average actually is, but not so much as to be bullshit]". This'll start you off on a good foot for negotiating your wage.

And also I wanna say congrats man. Sometimes this board is just a fucking sink of negativity so it is always nice to see something good happen to someone. 5/8 is a GREAT haul so clearly you have something going for you that's pretty hot! Go kick ass dude.
