There are HUNDREDS of alternatives to monero that you can use to make anonymous payments. Once they make a few arrests criminals will quickly shift to something else. No one is that stupid to trade using a coin that can get your name flagged by 3 letter agencies. There are several monero forks they can use. Litecoin gets used far more often than monero on the dark web. Not to mention Bitcoin.
