What's the advantage for Facebook running on BSV? I mean don't they wanna control their own coin completely?

The advantage would be that it can scale to the massive throughput they would need. It can be a token built ontop of BSV so they would be in complete controll of it. Another advantage is that they would not infringe any of the nChain patents by building it ontop of BSV

Really doubt FB is putting anything on BSV considering the tone of this CA tweet.

Obviously I'm a BSV fan, but this moon mission isn't going to take off methinks.

the fact Calvin isn’t feeding the rumor to enrich himself actually makes me more bullish it could be making his enemies think there is nothing there.

Anon.....I
You need to have some way to pay the bills hosting the IT systems that run the software for the token. All tokens have cost somewhere. The model in BSV is to use huge blocks which will keep the fees low and pay the bills by processing a large volume of transactions instead of raising the fees. We will be like coca-cola, not Lamborghini.

EOS tokens can run with no fees, the dev just must leave a staking deposit for bandwidth and CPU usage

Temporarily, until that initial stake is used up to pay for electricity and bandwidth. There are many arguments for why PoW is better than PoS.

It's never used up, that's the point. As long as it's staked, the token/smart contract is given a certain amount of bandwidth and CPU power per day.
