What is It you fucking larp? I have a friend who works in software engineering at Amazon and I've asked him about chainlink and oracles and he says they'd never use it and would just build an Oracle themselves, he works on internal software development and tells me they do that shit for most of the companies needs in enterprise software. Jeff Bezos likes to be vertically integrated and that's why they're getting rid of FedEx and developing their own shipping and logistics network.

>yfw they even bought fucking airplanes for prime deliveries to cut out FedEx

Post valid proof because I've done so much research on this. I hold 52k link so I'm not a link FUD'er but it pisses me off to see larps like you making shit up just to pump it and then dump their bags on other link marines.

Those who said Sergey has no vision (the same speech!) have not been paying attention, particularly to his earliest appearances.

Chainlink is being constructed to fill the role of an idealised arbiter of truth, connected to the most perfectly dispassionate executor, in the form of public smart contract chains.

This is in fulfilment of the deepest Platonic ideals of contract and governance that have ever been conceived, but which have remained out of reach, mere approximations even under the highest forms of lawful Republic, as at every step human capriciousness asserts itself and corrodes the final product, the freedom of contract found when our pledges are given force by Leviathan. Alas, ‘from the crooked timbers of humanity, no straight thing was ever made’.

By redrawing the locus of consensus as that of a precise ledger with sound game-theoretical guarantees at its edges, and iron-clad stricture within, rather than a continuously renegotiated knife fight, the level of trust required to engage in mutually beneficial enterprise plummets precipitously.

But what does it plummet to? The trust required is now neatly circumscribed to the trust in the information delivered unto our new Leviathan. There is fortunately a market for this trust, a pool of agents who are willing to stake their reputation and collateral on any piece of digitisable information on which it is possible to come to consensus. The truth is a most excellent Schelling point, and one which well-incentivised agents can reliably settle on.

Do not underestimate the power and the generality of this arrangement in its maturity, nor the amount of human and economic potential that this will unlock.

one global economic sneeze and amazon is gone.
China doing what China always does after growing too fast, disintegrating, and amazon is gone
The dollar going to shit, amazon gone
Europe falling into war or becoming communist, amazon gone

I remember the bankers in the 90's and 80's believing banks will always exist. Then came 2009 and they were trying to land a job in call centers. Amazon is not too big to fail it is just a centralized logistic business that will die in a recession

And honestly would work out for most of us. We have spent countless hours trying to time the shitcoin market just to get pink wojack'd out of half our money, while normies putting a few hundred every month on their coinbase and parking the coins there for a couple years will make a killing.

Vertical integration functions very well for intra-company operations. If other companies are using LINK, then Amazon will too because Amazon sources a truly staggering amount of shit from third parties. If it's actually becoming an industry standard, Amazon will play ball with LINK rather than make BezosBaht or whatever.
