At a surface level people think oracles only deliver data to contract. They don’t realize the legalities of: reselling data, the issue of getting personal data behind a nation’s firewall to a contract, keeping proprietary code private.

They also don’t seem to understand the offloading of computation to a group of of oracles that don’t need absolute consensus like ethereum/blockchain nodes do.

Not to mention that PoS and ZKPs both need entropy/randomness (I may be wrong about ZKPs needing a source of entropy)

The idea that you can access endpoints right away and not have to worry about the legal side of using data is just amazing. Data providers can just take payment in whatever they require and rest easy knowing they are being compensated and providing solutions for next-gen tech.

Everyone wins.
