you must be new. we don't use bitcoin anon, we just buy and sell in on exchanges. pretty much everything else is better for moving money though. xlm is my go too if I want to move between exchanges. it's fast and cheap as fuck.

Pay a higher fee, or just wait your transaction go through. I had two transactions clear yesterday with a 16 and 23 sat/byte fee which cleared in the evening. Mempool always has more activity during the day.

Pay a lower fee. Finality costs money to manifest with energy and always has, it has never been about low fees. This will pronounce itself as Bitcoin's price rises.
Use 2nd layer solutions if you're too poor or the transaction is too little to afford the miner's resources.

It has helped immensely, you save on transaction fees if you use it yourself. Consider Bech32 addresses to maximize fee savings.

The very first lesson I learnt in crypto was to use eth for transfers, I used bitcoin only once for my first buy in when I was a total noob. I don't even hodl in btc, much better to go for a solid, legit alt which has much more upside potential and very low chance of dumping into hell. Let's pick eth and btc for example, actually I think that eth is an even safer bet for long term. Eth is still an affirmed name, has better tech, better development, and plenty of room to mature and improve as a tech. Btc has the first mover advantage that is actually a big deal, but not a long term guarantee. See excite, netscape, etc

yeah lightning will kill any sort of institutional adoption as soon as regulators figure its P E R F E C T for money landering.

aside from that LN is at best a meme (even when its technically very nice) hardly used and will not solve scaling as i refer to my first stated point in this post.

im not even mad you guys dont get it yet, this gives me more time to sell at a higher price (if this shit of a BTC finally arrives at the exchange).

The problem is it is deluded autists like Greg Maxwell who think the rest of humanity will spend more than 5 seconds to go to lengths to make something work the way they intended. Entire business ventures have failed because something was too much of a hassle to use. If sending money is like programming a remote control, forget about it.

bought 100 € worth of bitcoin just to try out leverage trading for the first time. Made a coinbase account, transfered 100 € into it. Coinbase already tokes a fee to deposit. Transfer remaining to BitMex. Another fee. Money is now on Bitmex, but 100€ has already turned into 95 € before even trading anything. Fuck you jews.
