Given everything else about the Craig story, and the fact that anyone besides Gavin having seen Craig "sign" with satoshi's keys is just something Craig says with no evidence, occam's razor supports the theory that Craig pulled some kind of simple trick on Gavin, and that's that. This has been argued to death on the internet and there have been all kinds of methods suggested to how he could have pulled it off. Gavin isn't some kind of superhero detective, he's just a guy, and Craig is a fraudster through and through in every possible way. So you have to apply occam's razor correctly here or you'll come to the wrong conclusion.
