If I was new, I'd be buying BTC/ETH and learning the basics of both coins. All the ERC20 scams you get into will rely on you knowing a bit about how to send/store them in your ETH address, and gas fees, etc.

And a ton of coins are just bitcoin copys, so if you will get the gist of how most coins operate but digging into all the extra stupid stuff people pile on coins instead of just using them as crypto currency.

Same anon. Heard about BTC back in 2015, tried to understand it and thought nvm. Briefly looked into it in 2016 only cause I wanted to sell counterfeit hype, but dropped it yet again. 2017 I didn't have money when the golden bull run started. Thought it died in 2018 and only looked crypto up on a whim last month. 20% up with BTC. I've been trying to do meaningful research, but this whole thing is a meme. Nothing is tied to intrinsic value yet. I'm looking to ride the next /biz/ pnd otherwise I'll never make it

Trade until you like your portfolio, then sit on it till 2020 or so. Don't try collecting dimes by selling and re-buying, the risk of losses are too great, just HODL

This is how you make money OP. Just open a 2 or 3 times leveraged long on bitmex so you dont get liquidated but can still get a good ROI and watch your cash roll in.

BTC is always a decent bet. Shitcoins pump and dump. Don't buy old shitcoins, only new hype and make sure to sell.
