They'll just use a version of Linux. There is a lot of already done and working stuff nowadays that can be polished enough for mass use by the chinese. It's not a problem when they /have to do it/. Linux efforts for anything else than server/enterprise applications has always been underfunded until recently, and chinese companies could finally do some of the last legwork needed to free us from microsoft.
