My best Bitmex trade was during the crash in 2018 but I still got stopped out, kek.

>Short from 15k to 11~

If you remember there was a gigantic drop of like 3-4k+ in an hour, I shorted cross margin from the top and was pumping with adrenaline, stupidly closed the short and took profit so I'd have more to short with and then re-entered right at the bottom of the bounce. It bounced like 2k back up maybe 30 seconds after I entered the second short and wiped me out, then it continued to crash. I don't trade anymore now but my god, it was exhilarating, even if I got stopped out.

The chart looked like those Bizonacci DAMP EET videos. That's unironically how the chart looked as it happened. Just red and then the biggest green candle you've ever seen lol

my brother warned me about margin trading, saying your greed is your own worst enemy and can easily lead to severe losses
it's why my profits are lower, since I take less exposure on my positions by keeping my leverage at maximum x3

I use BitMax. Bitmex price swings too fucking much at some liquidation events. Also, you have to get in and out with the help of grandpacoin, which lately literally takes a day waiting for your tx to be incorporated into a block.

Probably a good idea unless you're an actual trader that traded at a bank beforehand or something like that. I'm just a pleb that read some books on trading really, I don't have 20+ years trading experience etc, which is who you're competing with at the end of the day.
But I only traded with 2-3k anyway so I didn't break the bank and it was fun and I learnt a lot about controlling emotions, etc.
