this

my sense though is that adoption is there, but it takes time to integrate systems - especially legacy ones that are old and shitty - and that will mean a slow ramp up in terms of actual usage

will take time, we'll probably see a repeating j curve, as with pic related

but there should be at least some traffic going through the network initially, that would give a nice spike

sure, there may be a ton of companies ready to go with external adapters

but those are the providers of data, who are the consumers? who is going to be calling a chainlinked contract in _their_ smart contracts?

one pool of users are other crypto companies, or tech companies starting to branch into crypto

the other is institutional platforms, which will use chainlink internally, while abstracting it away from customers - I highly doubt those platforms are ready to go

Are you seriously going to kill yourself because retards on /biz/ lied to you? I'm telling you right now what's going to happen. Mainnet will come and go, and there will be nothing from the Chainlink team. What you should do then is sell. You'll probably only have a few days to sell because everyone else will be selling too. Then you'll have money instead of worthless tokens. Maybe spend some of it and re-invest the rest.

I personally think you should because I don't believe in LINK even a little. It has been around too long and developed too little. Nothing, in fact. Do you realise that?

I have a question. Do you own any coins that have a gui wallet? Because I have multiple. It's not much but it's something. Chainlink never end made "something". There isn't even an official wallet that you can send your coins/tokens to so it the project can look somewhat legitimate. What have they been working on? Nothing. Two years of nothing.

You don't have to sell now but you should sell immediately after mainnet when nothing happens.

Remember the larp a few weeks back claiming that mainnet was ready?

He stated that:

- Mainnet itself would be underwhelming. Still lots of things to build out etc.
- The partnerships would be big.

That sounds about right to me... it could be an EEA type run in the next few months. ETH still isn't really "used" and neither does Chainlink for a nice price jump following some announcements. Following that we will see greater and greater surges as usage increases in 2020.

Why would there be a separate wallet for an ethereum token? That would rise more concerns than the current situation. MEW+Ledger is perfectly fine. Chainlink isn't meant for you, it's meant for institutional users. GUI wallets are mostly for scamcoins.

I've personally looked at the pivotal despite not being a programmer. What did I see? A whole bunch of writing. That's it, writing. Comments, leading people to believe that they're working on something.

Here's another question: Has anyone even seen a picture of what's going to be released? Even if the product isn't ready, you'd think they would show snippets of it. They haven't shown anything ever, have they.

I just want it to bleed down to 50-70c again. I'm never fucking selling my stinks but i can't buy the top of this recent pump we are gonna go down for sure. This place is an echo chamber no one outside gives a fuck about link. Several wales are manipulating the price and will dump hard on mainnet. The idea that this would just take off and never fall back down is ludicrous. Even if we pump to 3 bucks we will bleed out over the summer and autumn until genuine adoption starts taking place.

i-it's not going to dump haha...

But for real always do the opposite of what /biz/ says. Think about it, these fucking autistic niggers have been shitposting about how this is a scam for 2 whole years. I don't know if the breadcrumbs are legitimate or not but let's go off what we know from events that /biz/ has mostly no control over.

1) The current marketcap is over $1 billion without any public knowledge of the project and it's mainnet isn't even out yet. Near silence from the development team as well, WHO is buying these fucking tokens?
2) It's capped at 1 billion tokens. Period.
3) It's one of the few projects in crypto with a legitimate use and if it's adopted with the current plan each individual token will be worth more than 10X it's current value easily That's a small sample of the project's scope.

It probably will dump on mainnet, but who gives a fuck? The question is if it has a working product or not, because that's what will determine the future. What's it going to do, pump to $3 and dump down to $2?
