Democracy doesn't work.

Then it would be democratic

>> No.13846797

Only if it's done as a shareholder model. Current "democracies" are just communism applied to (one aspect of) political power.

Because who you vote for is truly anonymous and blockchain can’t guarantee that yet

This. The only difficult thing about voting is to change the process and educate the people on the change, especially boomers of late 50s and above. Not everyone knows how to use a machine with a simple voting button. It could take some years to change I guess, but I don't think it could happen so easily.

most 60 year olds dont know what a bitcoin is other than its a digital money thingy, nevertheless what a fucking blockchain is. none of the newfags here even know what it is, they're just trying to get rich quick.

try to get the average person to set up metamask, one of the least brain-intense wallet setups and see how it turns out

That would make it a lot harder for Democrats to get votes from dead people and illegal immigrants.

Blockchain based elections are probably racist too.

a cleveland company votem just went bankrupt trying this

>> No.13847441

Because digital voting systems is a pipe dream. Nothing is ever really secure.

One way to do it is to create a hybrid system with digital voting and physical paper ballots as backup.
