2.5%, 2.5% owned by other crypto nerds, 35% by sergey, 35% by venture guys, and the rest is prob LINK that sergey pays his employees in,

Well lemme do some thonking hol up

650M is withheld by sergey and/or his team for later use. That gives us 350,000 to work with. Currently there are only about 200 people or so that frequent biz on average during a week I think that's a figure some anon pulled out of some website traffic viewer so let's go with that.

I would say current /biz/ about half of them own LINK and many people have simple left /biz/ out of the sheer boredom of the absolute justing that was the past bear market and 2 years of silence. I want to assume that about 1k people from /biz/ probably own LINK with numbers all over the place. I'm a newfag and only have 8K LINK so I can't really say for sure, but the numbers of /biz/ current population put the average at about 10K or so (this is also what's speculated to be needed to "make it"). Realistically we can't really get an accurate figure because of the nature of this board, the LARPers, FUDers pretending to be LARPers, link marines pretending to be FUDers who pretend to be LARPers, etc.

I want to say collectively /biz/ probably owns over 10,000,000 LINK which is 1% of the total or more. If you only want to factor in the amount on market currently that figure would be 2.8% which basically >>13839158 pointed out.

That leaves an interesting question for any oldfags that still care enough to help out the newfags. Where the fuck is the other 95+% of LINK at?

Where was the link infographic that said something like there were only 16k people who had link?

>> No.13839375

That's a good point I completely forgot about that, someone once said that there are only 20K link wallets in existence right now (this was a week ago). What could we gather from such information though?

200 people frequent biz? i know this board slumped for a few months but that number seems to be missing a few zeros too

I wouldn't be surprised if it was only 200 people on average per week, but like I said that's a number some random anon said once and I happen to agree so it's not concrete evidence, purely anecdotal. Most of the reason I think it's around this is because I have no life outside of work and shitposting here for now and I can actually tell if an anon i've talked to before is posting in that thread despite different times and IDs.

Maybe it's close to 500 unique IDs at best IMO per week. Let's say it's even double my previous estimate that means /biz/ owns roughly 5-6% of the current circulating supply of LINK if we take 10K as an average

the number of wallets have slowly increased the past few months. with only this information, we can speculate that it is some combination of previous long term holders spreading their link through multiple wallets, previous long term holders with no previous wallets taking link off of exchanges, new buyers making new wallets. There are a few other variables to consider but idgaf because Link is an all or nothing bet, either you lose it all or you end up with nothing.

With 14k posts a day and considering a realistic lurker/post ratio 200 seems way too low
