Is there a better ROI on anything greater than making yourself attractive? I can't think of one. Maybe acquiring knowledge but all the gains are in a very long, skewed tail where as becoming attractive pays from the minute you start, compounds with effort and pays dividends your entire life. Even in the worst case scenario, you can just pay an upfront cost for plastic surgery and collect by having an easier life. I wish humanity was wired in a way to where grooming yourself wasn't the best use of time in all but fringe cases but it is. Reminds me of the Beautiful Ones from that mouse universe experiment.

Went to an event this weekend. Everyone looks so fresh and perfect. I wish I knew how to do that.

They’ve got perfectly shaped hair, no nicks or razor burn, perfectly symmetrical facial hair. I feel like there’s some secret to all this. Some book of techniques I don’t know of.

It all goes well beyond eating and exercising and washing your face. I don’t know what it is.

I live in the American Gardens building on West 81st street. My name is Patrick Bateman. I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me. Only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our life styles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

It's easy, just be a psychopath.

> Diabetic rats had a significant decrease in erectile function compared with control rats (p <0.05), while AG treated diabetic rats showed erectile function similar to that in control animals. Glycation, AGEs, galectin-3 and iNOS levels are elevated in diabetic rat penile tissue and significantly decreased by AG treatment. Furthermore, erectile function was preserved in AG treated animals. The observation that AG improved glycation despite no effect on glycemia suggests that AG may improve penile collagen turnover.

China: State media CCTV comment on Huawei being sanctioned in their news program: Facing sanction from superpower Huawei swiftly emabled their backup plan that have been in development for more than tens of year/ in order to ensure the strategic safety and continual supply of most of their products. The enabling of thwir backup plan, shows the strategic vision they have to think about future risk while in safe condition, and their mindset of prepare for bad things to happen before they come, and also show their fighting spirit that remain unmoved during difficult time and continue to tackle obstacles. This sort of spirit by Chinese enterprise and Chinese entrepreneurs is the power that keep on motivating China to continue conquer new technological peaks.

That is a misguided interpretation. The Western Governments fought knowingly against Nazis and willingly with Soviets. Wrong side allows for error interpretation which does not exist. Most of Europe before 1939 knew of USSR's horror show, and he had at that point killed already more people than Hitler would gas Jews.

Yet the Perfidious Anglo sided with Communists in Europe and China, and U.S. extended both disputes (in Europe) to larger-than-necessary wars (considering fucking France was like 'whatever' when Germans marched in)

What I mean to say is that, Communists chose Communists, and we live in the world of Communists.

Companies are traded around the clock in exchanges around the world.

>> No.13737360

>>13737330
Because of after-hours trading. Markets essentially never close now, but there's often little to no volume on these trades. If you look up a rando ticker on Google it'll have a seperate after hours price -- that's what you're seeing right now.

It means that someone was willing to buy at that 8% premium in after hours, not that the stock will be that price when the wider market opens. You see these movements in particular with people knee-jerk reacting to, say, an earnings report -- someone might buy after hours because they think it's good, sending the stock up in after hours, but once people digest the report, the stock might in fact open down.

Don't fuck with after hour trading until you are a VERY competent trader. If at all.

Progressivism in business is a method of min/maxing sales or trying to save your ass by pandering to college students. Do you know why there's a black man with a white woman in every ad? White people save their money unless they're redditniggers. The ads are telling blacks, who spend more, that they'll get a white woman if they buy this piece of plastic garbage or open this bank account. Of course the popular ad firm that puts these out is also run by a Chosen Person but whatever business does is subordinate to money.

It's actually... kind of racist and I never thought I'd say that.

>Iran has increased by fourfold the rate of enrichment of low enriched uranium, an official in Natanz nuclear facility was cited as saying by Tasnim news agency on Monday, a week after Iran officially stopped some commitments under an international nuclear accord.

>Under the agreement, Tehran was allowed to produce low-enriched uranium with a 300-kg limit. Tehran could ship the excess amounts out of the country for storage or sale.
Iran said this month the cap no longer applies as it scaled down commitments in reaction to U.S. unilateral withdrawal from the deal.

>It was not clear how far Iran’s stock of low-enriched uranium was from the 300-kg limit. Under the deal Iran can enrich uranium at 3.67 percent, far below the 90 percent of weapons grade. It is also well below the 20 percent level to which Iran enriched uranium before the deal.

this is however what potentially causes EU to stop agreeing to the agreement either

EU has recently stated (both EU spokesmen and various heads of state, including Merkel and Macron) that Iran cannot reneg on any aspect of the deal and expect the rest to be upheld, and they warned Iran against pulling out of the deal in any way if it did try to renegotiate (something they also said the EU was against in general)
according to them, A violation of the treaty is still a violation of the treaty, no matter what one Iran says. (lol)

this could be what causes the deal to totally collapse (depending on how the EU reacts, once it is confirmed by IAEA inspectors of course)

What’s uncertain is the market, I am like 90% stocks right now, that’s all I was saying.

Yes that is how things have played out in the past. (NRA seems to have real internal problems for once, but I don’t think it’s enough to throw them too far off their game. Though the lack of disposable income if the upcoming economy weakens as it seems like it must, at least a little, idiots won’t be buying as many unnecessary guns. (Nothing against owning a few guns, but collectors are stupid. Come on, America! Save and invest!)

My question is more: why AOBC and not RGR? What makes you think AOBC is a good company?
