I do a 15 minute workout everyday when I wake up Monday through Thursday....I may not be completely jacked but I feel very toned and fit. Working out first thing in the morning saves me from not working out after work due to being too tired or spontaneous plans. You should try it.

>> No.13726572

I think you might be doing it wrong if that's what happens when you do it.

Working out anytime of day during the week regularly is good for maintaining a routine. Doing it in the morning is best for overall productivity, so long as you refuel sufficiently afterwards. Evening workouts after work can be maintained just as easily as well.

>> No.13726575

And what gave you that hernia?

Don’t fall for the gym meme. Just run occasionally and pick up a weekend hobby or sport that’s not sedentary.

>> No.13727034

A burden is something either useless and addictive or necessary to complete. Gym is neither one of these. It is a choice to include it in your regime and take the first steps to mastering the ultimate form of self improvement.

Does it take energy to do any task? of course. Does the gym require more energy than your typical tasks? Yes it does. But as you get better at it you get smarter at doing it too and it stops becoming so taxing to go do.

Eating better also makes it much easier to do regularly. If you are eating crap, you will do crap. If you eat healthy, you want to do things that make you feel healthy. I suggest you buy a bag of apples the next time you are at the store instead of that six pack you always get, see what happens. Eating healthy is the closest thing to feeling like you are on drugs without actually taking drugs.

>But as you get better at it you get smarter at doing it too and it stops becoming so taxing to go do
It is taxing agreed, therefore a luxury for the ones that can spend energy and time on leisure. We also call those people "wasters"

Doing something and getting smarter about doing it doesn't mean you enjoy it. If you think you'll go to the gym to work out and enjoy it at the same time, you are doomed already and might as well stay away from my local establishment, pleb.

>>13727074
You think Arnold went to the gym because he enjoyed it? He did it because he was good at it.

Making the gym a luxury only happens if you go at the slowest pace possible and don't push yourself. If you sit in the sauna and do jack shit, or let the lazy river let you drift away into dreamland, that is a luxury. Doing the hard work in the gym is the challenge. You every wonder why those older guys who go to the 'gym' always stay so fat? It's because they do jack shit while they are there and only pretend to be exercising. The country club goers are wasters, not us fit fags.
