Was the last run up due to Tether minting a money out of thin air and then buying bitcoin? the FUD is getting to me.

There's no doubt Tether is a fraud, but what going to happen when it collapses?

Let's say if tether is forced to pay up one day and can't, they'll prob be forced to sell their btc holdings. Won't there be a mass drop in price

Notice how the market just mooned after a week or two of nonstop tether/bitfinex FUD and bobos trying to get you to sell? Should tell you something.

Of course it was. Just look at the volume increase on both BTC and tether during this fake run.

>> No.13710975

People don’t realize how much the tether issue is a black cloud over the crypto space. It’s one of the main things stopping institutional investors from really stepping into the space. They have too much power over the price of BTC which I turn has power over the Alts....unless the tether situation is straightened out, crypto won’t be able to topple really currencies.

>> No.13711001

yes it was.
btc will collapse to 3.5k then scoot up to 10k

You fucking nigger, if you sell 2.8B is about 350 000BTC rn. That would be more than enough to get btc to double digits if you just market sold. Bitfinex would sell it OTC of course but that would also drop the price to triple digits.
