20k holder here. Trying to view link rationally for a minute and take the crypto context into consideration. Link currently has token rank 6 with 2 stable coins above it (meaning their market caps are meaningless). Is anyone else worried about this? Just using trader mentality wouldn't it be unreasonable for the market cap to increase much more above the the rest of them?

LINK was always a long term HODL. Then you have to factor in staking+nodes. And lastly, even the next bullrun will reach a market cap of trillions.

Now please stop posting the same shitty FUD.

Chainlink is an entire new beast.

Nothing compares to it. The fact that its a token doesnt matter.

Its blockchain middleware, first of its kind. It just happens to be a token on Ethereum because it chose Ethereum for bookkeeping.

Yes you should definitely wait until it gets higher to buy. Buying high has always been tradition.

I actually ran through a similar thought process but there’s multiple things to consider. If we add in the smart contract aggregation factor and compare the global necessity index for technological innovation we can probably triple. If we also figure the high density node reputation stake we could probably go five times from there. With that in mind market cap will be around 5 billion.

1.Almost everything above LINK is garbage. LINK should be in the top 10 already.
2.MCAPs are almost all meaningless. If Cardano or Stellar, as a company, were sold on the open market they would not be sold for 2BN. There is not 2BN of value in their networks. Their "valuations" are a fiction.

How does it feel to have 20k? Doesn’t it feel like you missed out to get to 50k or even 100 k?

You're correct but remember crypto "investors" are mostly retarded teenagers and they will always look at it as an ERC20 token which will hurt the price. I bet if LINK were it's own chain the price would be 2-3x higher even though it makes zero difference from a technical perspective.
