funny but wrong, its a Mandala network, spelled differently than Mandela effect

I'm genuinely curious what they're gonna build. So far I have seen rather uninspiring stuff like pay-to-post social networks and a pay-to-watch video service which sounds ridiculously absurd to me and I don't believe it's gonna get any traction or attention.

I seem to remember btc at 22k in 2013/14 and I specifically remember this because I remember looking at the price back when I actually had friends and I had a conversation about it with them. I try not to think about it because it creeps me out

yeah but what happens when the red one is started a few millisecond faster? what happens is everyone will ignore the tx except the node that received it. network becomes red but the vendor never knows about it.

I'm currently building a 4chan clone on-chain. I'm torn about on boarding and might consider making it an optional perk (like a 4chan pass), I'm not a fan of the stuff we've seen so far by any means as far as pay-to-play goes and I think it can be done in a more interesting way. Ideally, using BSV would be optional but people will do it anyways to get dividends or royalties on their OC, which is totally possible right now with money button. There are so many ways you could make a Bitcoin-enabled image board that isn't just tipping

>> No.13703953

>>13703767
Sounds interesting. I think if you just had to pay a sat/byte to post it would be fine. You could do some kind of DRM service on top for if you are submitting OC put your mark on it and #. Perhaps even then an onchain meme library where then you can just browse for your meme and it would be displayed in your post via the bitDB call.

Yep, the meme library is definitely going to be a thing, although someone else may beat me to it.

The problem with requiring BSV is that noone has any so it won't take off with non-BSV people. I could make a faucet but it's still quite complicated

>> No.13704174

>>13704120
Maybe you could have it that it does a no sats/byte fee, and it could go to the mempool. If someone thought it had value they could money button swipe to give it a fee otherwise it would slip into the ether as an unconfirmed after the block? Is that possible?

>> No.13704213

The way I see it is, if a post has value, someone will tip it, and that mechanism of tipping could also commit that post to the chain as well. If an entire thread has value, someone will archive it, and that mechanism of archiving will commit the entire thread to the chain. If it doesn't make the cut, it probably wasn't valuable or interesting.

I honestly dont see social media or any other media leading the charge to adoption. I think it's going to be businesses using the network to facilitate some portion of their business. As long as it's cheaper for the business they will do it. Plus they literally don't have to worry about backing up data or it getting erased.

Yeah and the thing with the archiving is, it only has to archive the text as the images will already have come from a bitDB entry already so it will be cheap to archive. I would definitely flick a few cents to make sure an epic bread was saved eternally. It could make >>######## so much easier as instead it could be >>txid which would be valid eternally.

Yep, people I've talked to about this that aren't into crypto but have worked on image boards have said if it works, it will be 100x more efficient than anything we have now since images and even posts can be re-used by referencing the hash.
