Im middle class but as a professional work with a lot of the put on lower class types. definitely feel I'm judged for not being your typical lower class suburbanite.
Work with a lot of very lower class straight cut dudes who look down on me because I'm not really typical lower class boring Volvo/range rover driving bastard in the white collared shirt and have some ideas and opinons which are fairly "out there" I suppose.

I am fairly mixed in how i express myself but this class system feels like a fucking prison. I rather talk to the upper class twits, they are not so put on at the very least or trying hard at all. Compared to the ultra conformist lower types.

I feel like the only real way to escape this is to leave the country and work somewhere else. Anyone else who has come from a middle class background dealt with this by moving away?

also, if you think about social relationships in terms of class but you still fail at them, then you are insecure and graceless. if you know you're the outsider, you have to figure out how to put other people at ease for your own benefit. Not everyone's going to respond well for the simple fact that your different, but most "lower class" "put on" people are still receptive if you aren't a complete tool.
