My understanding is
Bank lets you chip in some dosh which they put in a huge pile
Bank then doles out dosh to smallcap faggot high risk companies at super high interest rates
Bank then takes the interest they collect on these loans and invests it, different investment strategies tracked by different types of ETNs
Based on their success I might get big dividend, sometimes no dividend at all
If a lot of the faggot small cap companies defaults on their loan, the value of the ETN plummets
If the bank issuing the ETN fails, I'm fucked

How far off am I

AMD is in an excellent spot, though, releasing torrents of rape on Intel in Q3 with their Zen 2 architecture while Intel is still flaying around like a retard with no answers aside from smoke screens for shareholders. That makes sense honestly. Wasting taxpayer money on petty shit and having a cop and a 911 operator's time wasted on dumb shit like jaywalking or barbecuing without a permit is retarded and part of the reason our taxes keep going up. Completely wasted resources on gas for travel, arresting people, listening to the dumbass crying about permits, providing public defenders, courtroom time, etc. that all ends up needing to be fed with taxpayer money. Bootlickers sending LEOs on goose chases are damn near as bad as welfare leeches when the money starts adding up.

Anyone else sweating bullets on IQ? Option chain scaring the shit out of me but I’m holding since I got to ride the moon last time
All signs point to expansion, growth in subs and new content acquisition so the we all know they are going to be negative on earnings till they can up sub price but Jesus how fickle are investors going to be regarding this? JD flew on earnings, BABA did good and they have a stake no one really cares about TME or BILI but IQ is the Netflix of China and has held that title fairly strong. Let’s hope sentiment on IQ isn’t the same as on China in general.

Hes just a gambler. He doesnt understand in order for the price to drop, generally there must be a sell off. When 90% of shares are owned by institutions, and 80% of float is shorted, that doesnt leave much left to sell. And what does sell will mostly be shorts covering, meaning price goes up as demand goes up. This is what is known as a short squeeze.

See, heres the thing baggie. There are 21m shares shorted out of 26m float. 10 day average volume is 2.5m. Shorts would have to buy every single share for almost 2 weeks straight in order to cover all the positions. Minus a day or two due to peeps maintaining their short position. Imagine if a stock had 100% demand for 2 weeks. We would see a giant hike in price. Shorts have not covered. Many are banking on this company going bankrupt which is no longer probable. This stock will rise to its correct value. It's not a matter of hope, just a matter of time.

There are a few people here that think 80% of the float being short is somehow bad. Thats upward pressure. All they have to do is objectively evaluate the company itself but they can't do it. They are paying off debt and will have Levothyroxine profits replaced by next year.

Insider buying and new product info over the next quarter. They have nothing they can even FUD til next earnings. The price fixing shit won't be resolved for years.

Any of you heard of PDD before? They are Alibaba's largest rival in China.

Last decade, there were many low quality and even fake goods on the Alibaba platform. By using the price advantage, they have grown to become the largest e-commerce platform in China that every consumer would head to. They have received many domestic and international pressure to clean up their acts as they grow to the current size, so there are far fewer fake/low quality goods on the platform nowadays (There are still some of them on Taobao/Alibaba but not as much as before)
However, those fake goods didn't disappear after they are deleted from the platform. Where did they go? PDD.

From the usage stats, they are rather successful at attracting lower income group of the population to buy those goods from them. If the trend continues, then they could be the "ant" that kill the "elephant" Alibaba according to the analogy that Jack Ma often make

But the problem is, how come PDD, a company that is so focused at selling fake goods, can be listed at Nasdaq?

They said some of the drop in license cost are cancelled by increased investment on original content
Also they said the problem of over investment due to competition with other platform is also becoming a problem especially in the past two years when dozens of drama series with hundreds of million investments flopped. However, as drama investment are decided a year ahead, and they only realized this problem by the end of this year, so there will be even more heavily invested drama in term of both quantity and investment in 2019. They said the number will drop in 2020.
Also, on the other hand, they said they will increase investment on movie and theater, especially lower cost movies. But it will take a long time before anything come out from them because of the long cycle of movie production
